Our Structure

How our church is led

Living Hope is elder-led — shepherded by a plurality of elders, served by deacons, and carried week to week by ministry leaders, with the congregation affirming major decisions. All of it under Christ.

Christ — Head of the Church

The church belongs to Jesus. Everything below exists to serve Him.

The Elders (including pastors)

Shepherd the flock, teach sound doctrine, guard against error, and set vision and direction — always together, as a plurality.

The Congregation

Members affirm elders and deacons, the budget, and major direction.

Deacons & Ministry Leaders

Deacons carry the practical care of the church — facilities, finances, benevolence — while ministry leaders serve their teams week to week.

Why a plurality of elders?

No single leader rules the church alone. Authority is always held by the elders acting together — the pattern the New Testament models. It protects both the church and its leaders.
